SCOTTISH STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT
2010 / 2011

The Scottish Strategic Assessment document highlights to the people of Scotland, the Very High Risk crime and disorder issues which the Scottish Police Service has identified as impacting on communities.  It outlines the strategies that the police and partner agencies have adopted in tackling these issues and the role that the public can play in assisting with this. 

The priorities in the document have been identified through robust analysis and risk assessment of a wide range of information provided by all Scottish forces and law enforcement agencies as well as key partners such as the Scottish Government and Local Authorities.  Importantly the priorities identified also take account of the opinions of the public about those issues that impact detrimentally on your communities.
